MEC Nakedi Kekana addresses Ghana Delegates ahead of getting into the cultivation field.
MEC Nakedi Kekana led the Ghanaian delegation on an agribusiness study tour to Craighead Farm and Granor Passi Processing factory, Tzaneen in Mopani District, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration between Ghana and Limpopo Province, while showcasing exemplary agribusiness and agro-processing practices.
The study tour aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between South Africa and Ghana on advancing agricultural development and food security across the continent.
The delegation, comprising six Regional Ministers, equivalent to South Africa's Premiers, leveraged South Africa's expertise, particularly Limpopo, as a significant producer and player in national and global markets. The expectation is centred on skills and knowledge sharing, collaboration, and ambitions to become a continental hub for agricultural production and trade.
The study tour began at Piet Engelbrecht farm and Stoffberg in Sekhukhune District and proceeded to Mopani District.
