September marks the public service month in the South African calendar , this has prompted the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Mopani District to participate in various service delivery as part of ensuring that service delivery is heightened from the department , our agricultural advisors from different agro ecological zones zones are using these platforms to share valuable information that includes sharing information which includes call for subsistence ,smallholder ,commercial and mega producers who require production inputs ,infrastructure ,EPWP ,mechanisation to submit their proposals/application which opened this month of September until the 17 of October 2025 at 16H30 .
This is part of the district ‘s plan to realise the Limpopo development plan ‘s mission to achieve the vision of rural economy through farming , as part of the trail of service delivery mopani west agro-ecological zone formed part of the Mayoral imbizo in greater letaba municipality that took place at ward 6 lebala village were agricultural advisors discharged their responsibilities by going at length to empower the people of lebala village about information pertaining to services offered by the department from offices that are easily accessible within the Zone. Department of Social Development held a continuous community plan program on the 11th of September 2025 at Prieska village under Ba-Phalaborwa local Municipality, department of agriculture and rural development honoured the invitation to participate in this program of accelerating services to remote areas.
On the 18th of September 2025, Letjepe Mpolaye team from Mopani North Agro-Ecological Zone represented the department at an integrated Community Registration Outreach Program organized by SASSA at Mamaila Community hall, presented services that we offer at the district and the process to obtain such services , on the same date under Greater Giyani Local Municipality , agricultural advisors rolled up their sleeves to interact with agricultural community at a Pop up market at the Municipality parking.
On the 23rd of September 2025 at Mninginisi village under greater giyani municipality, the district joined other sister departments at an ICROP program were our agricultural promoted amongst other things household food security and appropriate advisory support
