The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) has successfully concluded its two-day Extension Officers’ Conference, held from 29–30 January 2026 at the Swadini Forever Resort. The event featured a comprehensive program of commissions, presentations, and team-building sessions, all designed to bolster collaboration and enhance service delivery.
A Call for Unity and Excellence
Acting District Director, Ms. Makhanani Nkuna, opened the proceedings by emphasizing the critical role of unity. She emphasized that unity is fundamental to achieving meaningful results in the department’s core business. Ms. Makhanani encouraged extension officers to participate actively in the conference commissions, ensuring that the resulting strategies directly contribute to improving performance standards and fulfilling government priorities. She concluded with a call to action, urging officials to "go an extra mile" to ensure conference resolutions translate into tangible improvements for farmers across the district.
