Twenty-Five students have warmly received congratulatory messages from various stakeholders including the MEC responsible for the Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) Thabo Mokone.
This was during the graduation ceremony hosted by Madzivhandila College of Agriculture at Porche Villa, Muledani in Thohoyandou, Vhembe District on 15 March 2024.
Of the 25 graduates, 18 were awarded Diplomas in Animal Production and Seven received Diplomas in Plant Production.

A plant production student, Faith Dzunisani Mathebula has out performed the entire graduates by scooping the best overall student. Motlatso Thalitha Makgwata, an animal production student won the top student.
The college also awarded certificates to farmers in poultry production, entrepreneurship, beekeeping, and oil production.
In his congratulatory remarks, MEC Mokone shared the story of Jethro Nowata, an acting Head of Department. He made an assertion to graduates to draw lessons from acting HOD, who started his agricultural career at Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture. He encouraged graduates to follow in the footsteps of Nowata by taking themselves seriously as they embark on a new journey of life that is dependent on them.
Mokone expressed his pleasure that the best students were awarded to women and that women make good leaders.
