MEC Kekana outlines that plans are afoot to ensure service delivery is rendered in three current financial year, and that the budget is utilised efficiently


MEC Nakedi Kekana responded to the debate on Agriculture and Rural Development in the Limpopo Provincial Legislature, acknowledging the challenges that were previously faced by the department during the 2022/23 financial year.

She’s outlined that plans are afoot to ensure service delivery is rendered in three current financial year, and that the budget is utilised efficiently.

The MEC also emphasised the importance of the Revitalisation of Agriculture and Agro-processing Value Chain (RAAVC) Plan, which plays a key role in driving economic recovery. The MEC reaffirmed the Department's commitment to supporting farmers and rural communities, with continued focus on enhancing skills, market opportunities, and resilience in the face of ongoing challenges.
