Acting Head of Department Mpho Mashamba, Madzi College Principal Perpetua Mphahlele and MEC Nakedi Kekana during the assessment of security upgrades at the college.

The visit by the MEC Nakedi Kekana to Madzivhandila College of Agriculture underscores the importance of infrastructure development in supporting the growth and development of educational institutions within agriculture.

The MEC's assessment of the progress on the construction of a security gate at the college is a critical step towards ensuring the safety and security of students. This initiative is particularly significant, given the college's role in providing training and education in agriculture, a sector critical to the economic development of Limpopo Province.

The visit by MEC Kekana follows her officiation over the college's graduation ceremony at the nearby Kalahari Resort. This ceremony marked an important milestone for the graduates, who will go on to play a critical role in driving agricultural development in the province.

The MEC's presence at the ceremony and her subsequent visit to the college demonstrate her commitment to supporting the growth and development of the agricultural sector in Limpopo. By prioritising infrastructure development and ensuring that projects are completed on time, the MEC is helping to create an environment that is conducive to learning, innovation, and eventual economic growth as prioritised by the 7th administration.
