MPL and women representatives at the 2025 Provincial Women’s Parliament at Lebowakgomo
MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Nakedi Kekana, joined Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPL), women representatives, and communities at the 2025 Women’s Parliament held at the Lebowakgomo Legislature, Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality.
The Women’s Parliament remains an important platform to amplify the voices of women, debate issues affecting their daily lives, and craft practical solutions that will transform society.
This year’s sitting focused on: Equipping women with modern technological skills, creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship support, sustaining women’s community care and development initiatives, intensifying strategies to eliminate the GBVF pandemic and other societal challenges.
MEC Kekana emphasised that empowering women in agriculture, rural development, and beyond is key to building stronger families, sustainable communities, and an inclusive economy.
