Residents had an opportunity to voice their concerns and expectations, while providing valuable insights that guide the government's efforts in better serving them.

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) Vhembe Central Agro-Ecological Zone responded to the call for improved service delivery to the community.

LDARD, alongside various sector departments, state-owned entities, and business representatives, participated in the Thulamela Local Municipality Mayoral Imbizo led by the Mayor Cllr Athongozwidivha Sarah Rambuda accompanied by the traditional leader Gole Musiiwa Mphaphuli. The Imbizo took place at Mbilwi village sports ground.

Mayoral Imbizos serve as an essential platform for fostering dialogue between residents and government officials, allowing for discussions regarding service delivery challenges and successes. During these events, residents could voice their concerns and expectations, providing valuable insights that guide the government's efforts in better serving them. The event emphasised the importance of community engagement in enhancing local governance and service provision.
