In commemoration of International Mandela Day, Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) extended its helping hand by revitalising vegetable gardens on separate dates at both Ukuthula Primary School in Mageva, Mopani District and Grace and Hope Special School in Seshego, Capricorn District.
In line with the theme for Nelson Mandela International Day 2022, “Do what you can with what you have and where you are”, the department donated garden implements and seedlings. Officials therefore took the lead in making the seed-bedding, planting and watering as part of giving back to community.
