The Ranch, Polokwane, 12 March 2024 - The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDADRD) together with Northwest University Business School, has embarked on a groundbreaking journey with the launch of its Agripreneurship Incubation Programme.
The programme aimed at empowering unemployed graduates with essential business skills, particularly those well-versed in the agricultural sector, the flagship initiative seeks to pave the way for a new generation of Agri-entrepreneurs.
The programme’s primary goal is to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to establish and run successful businesses within the agricultural sector. NWU Business School has strategically partnered with the Limpopo government, forging a collaboration with the LDARD to extend the programmes’ reach and impact. Currently, the initiative is in full swing in Polokwane, where NWU Business School's dedicated team of professionals is working tirelessly to ensure the success of the training.
With an impressive 68 participants actively engaged in the programme, it marks a significant milestone for NWU Business School in its commitment to fostering Agri-preneurship and contributing to the development of rural areas.
The collaboration with the LDARD showcases NWU Business School's dedication to making a positive impact at the regional level. By partnering with the LDARD, the programme gains additional support and resources to address the specific needs and challenges faced by rural communities.
