LDARD MEC Nakedi Kekana (left) and Public Service Commissioner, Magerule Sekonya have, during their meeting, highlighted the need for continuous improvement and innovation with the public sector.
In a move to strengthen collaboration, MEC responsible for Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) Nakedi Kekana held a productive meeting with the Public Service Commissioner, Magerule Sekonya.
The meeting was a congratulatory Meet and Greet, while celebrating the achievements and fostering a shared vision for the future. Both leaders recognise the importance of unity and effective governance, which is one of the cores of Public Service Commission (PSC). PSC’s core mandate is to promote the constitutional values and principles, which govern the public administration and public servants on matters of ethics, transparency, and the development of public service, among others.
Kekana’s dedication to public service aligns seamlessly with Commissioner Sekonya’s commitment to transparency and accountability. Their dialogue highlighted the need for continuous improvement and innovation with the public sector.
The meeting marks a promising chapter for public service, emphasising the value of strong leadership and cooperative efforts in driving positive change. As MEC Kekana and Commissioner Sekonya continue their work, their partnership is poised to inspire progress and excellence across the board.
Following this, MEC took the opportunity to engage with the Auditor-General of South Africa’s team responsible for overseeing the LDARD.
The Meet and Greet Session intended to extend congratulations to the MEC on her appointment. The audit team was led by the head of the Provincial Office.
