Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) MEC, Nakedi Kekana, joined hundreds of proud families, friends, and academics at the University of Limpopo’s graduation ceremony held at the Onkgopotse Tiro Hall.
The ceremony, which recognized the hard work and perseverance of students across various disciplines, also highlighted remarkable milestones in academic achievement.
Among the graduates was Dr. Tlou Chokoe, a dedicated member of the Provincial Legislature (MPL), who was conferred with his second Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Animal Production.
MEC Kekana commended Dr. Chokoe for his unwavering commitment to advancing knowledge in the agricultural sciences, noting that such accomplishments strengthen the country and the nation’s drive towards food security, research, and innovation in the sector.
Dr. Chokoe’s academic journey, crowned by this rare achievement of obtaining a second PhD, stands as a testament to resilience, intellectual dedication, and a passion for agricultural development.
