The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) joined the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) and other government departments in bringing services to the much-needed community.
Various government departments and other stakeholders had dished out services and delivered presentations about its services and products under the banner, Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme (ICROP), which was led by SASSA at PPC Church, Xitlakati village, Greater Giyani Municipality, Mopani District on 26 July 2024.
The outreach programme, which was participatory in nature where questions and answers were clarified, had served as a service delivery platform through which the community has the right to. Access to information and services were conducted in a form of presentations and exhibitions.
In her presentation, Ruth Sithole, an agricultural advisor from Mopani North Agro Economic Zone (AEZ), had zoomed on animal health, animal production, agri-business, market access and bursaries programme.
Sithole called upon community members, especially young and women farmers to access and utilise the programmes and services that the department has to offer.
