The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) has hosted the Strategic Retreat Session for programme three (3) at Karibu Leisure Resort & Conference Centre held under the Greater Tzaneen Municipality. The three-day session commenced from the 19 – 21 November 2025.
The purpose of this strategic retreat was to improve performance and strengthen the audit opinion of the LDARD.
The session is designed to take Programme 3 leadership and management teams out of their routine work environment and provide dedicated time to diagnose systemic and operational challenges affecting programme performance 3, review and refine performance reporting systems and internal controls, and develop a unified and actionable corrective plan to address audit findings and strengthen compliance.
This retreat setting has created a conducive space for reflection, capacity enhancement, and shared accountability, enabling teams to collectively drive improvements in audit compliance, operational efficiency, and overall service delivery outcomes.
