The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD), in partnership with the North-West University (NWU) Business School, launched the third cohort of the Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme for Agricultural Development and Farmer Support Services (ADFSS) unemployed graduates on Monday, 26 January 2026, at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane.

The training marked the official start of the programme for graduates from the Capricorn, Sekhukhune, and Waterberg Districts. The purpose of the training is to equip graduates with essential entrepreneurial and business management skills required to establish and sustain viable agribusiness ventures.

The lectures began with a comprehensive finance masterclass, laying the foundation for participants to deepen their understanding of financial management, budgeting, and sustainable business practices.

Spanning a period of 6 weeks, the programme is scheduled to run until 6 March 2026. The first three weeks of training will take place in Polokwane after which the programme will move to Mokopane for the remaining three weeks
