Maropene Maeko urges farmers to take advantage of existing support programmes in the department.
Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD), in collaboration with Mopani District Municipality and Letaba Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College have officially launched an Agricultural Forum at Letaba TVET College, under Greater Letaba Municipality on 21 June 2024.
Farmers, farmers’ representatives, community members and agricultural advisors from LDARD have committed to support the Forum.
Members of the Forum were urged promote the interest of farmer development than using the Forum for self-serving interests.
Maropene Maeko, Deputy Director for Agribusiness in Mopani District, called on farmers to take advantage of existing support programmes in the department.
